About TROFACO
TROFACO is a socio-economic enterprise that enables its customers (donors) to make donations on planting trees in tropical areas for climate compensation. It is crucial that TROFACO provides accessibility and transparency of information to its customers. TROFACO needs a system that allows the customers to access and view the information of the trees they have purchased such as planted tree photos which are taken from the planting sites and GPS location photos. In addition, the regular updating and posting of photos on each planting site visit promotes the credibility, transparency and proof of TROFACO’s great work. This will allow TROFACO’s customers to see that their purchased trees had been truly planted and will be there for many more years.
The Problem
TROFACO has been growing rapidly and now they need a new web application to replace the existing one which is slow and prone to error. It must provide a better user experience to TROFACO’s customers and allow them to view planting sites and planted trees photos and GPS locations quickly and easily. In the meantime, the administrator should be able to easily maintain the planting sites information through the backend administration system.
