About TROFACO
TROFACO is a socio-economic enterprise that enables its customers (donors) to make donations on planting trees in tropical areas for climate compensation. It is crucial that TROFACO provides accessibility and transparency of information to its customers. TROFACO needs a system that allows the customers to access and view the information of the trees they have purchased, such as planted tree photos which are taken from the planting sites, and GPS location photos. Regular updating and posting on each planting site promotes the credibility, transparency and proof of TROFACO’s great work. This will allow TROFACO’s customers to see that their purchased trees have been planted and will be there for years to come.
The Problem
TROFACO has been growing rapidly and need a new web application to replace the existing one, which is slow and prone to error. It must provide a better user experience and allow TROFACO’s customers to view planting sites, photos of their planted trees, and GPS locations. The administrator should be able to easily oversee the planting sites information through the backend administration system.
