Success Stories
Veje til viden
We were contacted by Veje til Viden with the desire to develop an application intended to function as an educational portal for Danish primary schools. The result was a web portal that provides both teachers and students access to a comprehensive selection of educational materials. The product includes digital and analog assets such as interactive exercises, audio and video materials, downloadable documents, and much more.

Angular, Microsoft, ASP.NET
In recent years, we have worked closely with Manao Software on the development of our system for primary schools. This requires experience, resources, patience, and the ability to create integrated solutions.
Manao Software has been both the development team and a liaison with the Danish National Agency for IT and Learning, particularly for technical implementations like UNI-login. They have also assisted with data processing agreements and technical security aspects of the portal.
Niall, our project manager, has been invaluable, always available and quick to tackle challenges and deliver wireframes for new features. We look forward to continuing this collaboration.

Back-Office & Content Modules
The web portal is equipped with a back-office that allows Veje til Viden’s subject coordinators to efficiently create and maintain the portal’s content. An intuitive “Drag & Drop” module makes it easy to construct lesson plans and offers a variety of setup options. Additionally, the platform includes a user interface that enables administrators to create interactive exercises, thereby enhancing the dynamics of teaching. Students also have the ability to export entire courses as PDFs containing their completed tasks.
The portal features static pages with content modules similar to systems like WordPress and other CMS platforms, making it straightforward to design landing pages, informational pages, and more. A dedicated file manager ensures the storage of documents, videos, and audio files, guaranteeing stable media playback. Furthermore, the web administration is strengthened by a user management system that simplifies the management of access rights and roles.
Unilogin & MitID
The web portal is integrated with Unilogin, a login solution provided by National Agency for It and Learning. Students, parents, and staff at elementary schools can log into the portal using their digital ID through Unilogin. Users can authenticate in various ways, including using MitID. Via the back-office, Veje til Viden can control access to the portal’s content and materials based on the user’s role.
An important aspect of the login feature is that Veje til Viden can issue ‘licenses’ to individual schools using the portal and its materials. This provides an efficient way to manage access rights and ensure that resources are available only to authorized users at each school.
Math-Editor & Mathmatical Expressions
As a comprehensive e-learning platform offering a wide range of subjects, including languages and mathematics, one of Veje til Viden’s main requirements was the implementation of a math editor. This editor needed to allow both administrators and students to input mathematical expressions and calculations in a structured and presentable manner. Finding the right solution was challenging, as it had to be self-hosted and independent of third-party services that would impose monthly fees, thereby increasing operating costs.
After careful consideration, the choice was made in favor of MathLive – an effective web component that offers a user-friendly interface for editing mathematical formulas. MathLive is also specially designed for mobile phones and tablets.
